MDM 1000

The MDM1000 is a manual-feed dot peen marking machine that stamps metal tags using any true Windows-type font, along with logos and custom graphics — a cost-effective, durable alternative to traditional stamping and dies. As with the automatic MDM2000, working with real system fonts rather than a fixed character set gives near-unlimited layout flexibility across text, logos, and graphics.

Being manual feed, each tag is loaded by hand, putting the operator in direct control of positioning and placement for every piece. That makes it a strong fit for lower-volume runs, prototyping, or applications where tag layout and material change frequently between jobs, rather than continuous automated batches.

It marks a wide range of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass, and supports special and country-specific characters alongside standard text and logos. The MDM1000 can be operated via PC, mainframe (RS232), or offline using a keyboard, and ships with SWORD™ software included for design and layout management. For continuous, high-volume production, the fully automatic MDM2000 is also available.
