MDM 2000 DM

The MDM 2000DM is a fully automatic dot peen engraver built to produce 2D Data Matrix barcode metal tags, adding scannable, database-linked identification on top of standard text and graphics marking. Where PVC or Mylar barcode tags wear out and need periodic replacement, the MDM 2000DM's metal tags are built to hold up for the long term, cutting down on replacement cost and identification errors from worn labels.

Automatic feed keeps the machine running through continuous batches with minimal operator intervention, and an LCD edit function lets operators make on-the-fly adjustments directly at the machine rather than returning to a computer for every change. At 200 DPI resolution and 50 dots per second, the MDM 2000DM produces legible, durable Data Matrix codes on aluminum, copper, and brass tags up to 7.092" x 4.334", with text, logos, and codes rotatable at 90°, 180°, or 270° for tag orientation.

Powertag Lite software is included for creating and managing tag layouts and barcode data, and the unit connects to Windows XP, Vista, or 7 systems for full production control.
