The ME1500S DM is built for long-lasting industrial marking applications that need automatic data collection through a 2D Data Matrix code, readable by a standard handheld scanner. It converts alphanumeric data directly into embossed Data Matrix codes, holding up to 64 characters across a range of matrix sizes to suit different metal tag applications, making retrieval and management of tag data faster and more consistent than manual lookup.
It runs on the same industrial-grade platform as the standard ME1500S embosser, so mid-size manufacturing, power, utility, oil, and gas operations get the added benefit of scannable data capture without switching to a different machine class. Operation is handled through a built-in 7" WVGA color touchscreen with a simple icon-based multi-level menu.
The ME1500S DM supports IoT remote access and management entirely over the web or via VNC, plus FTP-based data transfer and machine updates over Ethernet, so configuration and monitoring don't require someone standing at the unit. It connects via USB, Ethernet, or WiFi to a PC, keyboard, barcode reader, or other device as your setup requires.
