ME550 Flexi Tag Embosser

The ME550 Flexi Tag Data Matrix embosser marks both standard alphanumeric characters and 2D Data Matrix barcodes directly onto aluminum and steel tags, giving you scannable, database-linked identification that a plain text embosser can't produce. 2D Data Matrix packs a meaningful amount of data into a small tag footprint, useful anywhere space for marking is tight but traceability data still needs to be dense.

At 57 lbs with a built-in carry handle, it's a genuinely self-contained, transportable unit — not a fixed installation — built to hold up in harsh industrial environments rather than a controlled office setting. It's commonly used across automotive plants, steel plants, shipyards, military facilities, and logistics operations for component and production-line identification.

The unit runs up to 144 tags per hour at 45 characters per tag, controlled through a 7" WVGA color touchscreen with password-protected configuration. Included PowerTag software lets an operator create and manage multiple jobs, handle both fixed and variable data, and store an unlimited number of templates for repeat production runs. It connects via USB, Ethernet, or WiFi, and supports IoT remote access and management over the web or VNC, with FTP-based data transfer and updates over Ethernet.
