The ML2000 is a fully automatic laser marking system built for permanent identification and traceability on metal tags — serial numbers, date codes, 2D Data Matrix codes, QR codes, 1D barcodes, manufacturing codes, graphics, and logos, all with fully adjustable laser power and frequency. Its DPSS laser design handles the full range of common metals, from soft aluminum and anodized aluminum to copper, brass, and steel.
Available in 6W or 20W configurations, the ML2000 lets you match laser power to your materials: the 6W version suits soft metals like aluminum and brass, while the 20W version handles the full metal range including steel, with the flexibility to adjust engraving power for different shades of gray on the finished mark. A fiber-based optical design and rugged mechanical build keep it running reliably in harsh industrial environments, and integrated air-cooling keeps maintenance and ongoing service costs low.
As a fully automatic system, the ML2000 loads from an adjustable input hopper holding up to 250 blank tags, moving them automatically from the hopper into the laser marking area and out to a collection tray once marked, with optional FIFO stacking or side-eject output. Data management is simple — layouts pull directly from an Excel sheet — and the system runs quietly, down to 65 dB, with built-in Safety Laser Off and native TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, and Profinet communication protocols.

The 6W version is recommended for soft metals like aluminum, anodized aluminum, copper, and brass. The 20W version handles the full range including steel.
Layout data is pulled directly from an Excel sheet to build the tag design.
Operation is quiet, down to 65 dB, suitable for environments where noise matters.
